Check-in/Poem

   Hey guys, so today is gonna be busy busy busy! I'm making pins working on my comic, and making T-shirt designs for Anime Conji. Hopefully I can get A LOT done, because it's almost here ;w;

So yes, and also, I wrote a poem so please, enjoy. :)

She Wishes

She wishes she knew why the world was the way it is

She wishes she could understand why the sun made her skin feel warm, it was like his rays of light were arms, and they were wrapping themselves around her, making her feel like she belonged

She wishes she could go back to when life was nothing but painting on tissue trees, playing scooter-bike-tag, and catching little butterflies in a jar, but at the end always setting them free

She wishes she had never read her sister’s diary

She wishes she could think reality is real, but she’ll just have to keep on pretending cause’ it makes her heal

She wishes that the moon would talk back to her, and maybe it did
Maybe it was sending morse code through the stars, but she just didn’t know how to read them

She wishes she could read the stars, so she could tell the moon to send her a falling one and she could ride it all the way to the neverending blackness of space
Just ride on a shooting star, into nothingness, never having to go back to anything
Just nothingness
That would be good
Then perhaps she could find out if the stars were really glowing angels like she thought, or maybe it was something more miraculous than that

She wished that she could go to the edge of the world and scream at the sky, just because she could, just to hear what the inside of her sounded like

She wishes she could lay down on the soil, and slowly sink into it, becoming one with the Earth, because that is how it should be

She wishes she could say that his eyes were like wishy washy windows after the rain, but she couldn’t because she had never met him, so she’ll just have to write a song about it until then

She wishes he would tell her he loved her more than being seventeen

She wishes she could find out if she had any past lives, and if this was her last one, because she often felt that the reason why she had it so good was because it really was her last

She wishes she could drown in Alex Turner’s voice, and wishes she could dance to Julian Casablanca’s voice forever, and marry Karen O’s voice

She wishes she could become a fairy, a ever lovely creature that just floated and tip toed on flower stems, and hid in the crackling bark of the trees

She wishes she could go to London and find the second star to the right so she could go to Neverland with her sister

She wishes she knew why sometimes all of a sudden she felt like crying
Maybe she was absorbing someone’s energy, or maybe she just wanted to cry for no reason  other than to cry

She wishes she could hop on the clouds and take a nap on them

She wishes she could know everyone’s story, because everyones got one to tell

She wishes she didn’t care about her teeth becoming yellowed by coffee

She wished she could stop thinking that life was so fake, and that her dreams were more real

She wishes that the boy with dirty blonde hair, and blotchy aqua eyes, who kept doing tricks on his skateboard were still close, like they once were
Back when he would come over to her house, for her little violin concerts, or to watch movies
Back when she had her scooter, and he would be pleading her to let him take it for a spin
Back when he would ask her what to say to his girlfriend when he texted her
Now it was just summoning up the courage to go up and talk to him every once in a while, and on days she did talk to him, she was glad that she had, because she missed him

She wished that the sky wasn’t so big, so she didn’t have to feel so small
And that, her eyelids had sparkles on them everyday, so then she could tell people that she was made of the galaxy’s dust

She wishes she could go to the playground, and go on that spinny thing, and just spin without an end, the world focusing on her, as it blurred out from view

She wishes she could see all the intricate designs of everything around her

She wished she could go back to wishing on twinkle twinkle little star, and not just wishing all the time because according to Disney:

When you wish upon a star
Makes no difference who you are
Anything your heart desires
Will come to you
And if your heart is in your dream
No request is too extreme
When you wish upon a star
Your dreams come true

But perhaps there weren’t enough to make a wish on, so she’ll throw coins into fountains, and when an eyelash falls she’ll be there to catch it, or wrestle for it
She’ll pick every dandelion her hands can hold, fill her lungs with air, and breathe out onto them, so all of their dandelion fluff will be carried by the wind

And then new ones would grow that way there would be more wishes to go around, and maybe the world wouldn’t be so empty, because there would always be something to wish on
